4 MA (Marketing) PR

The Open University Business School’s new MA in Marketing has generated massive interest with hundreds of callers keen to register for the new qualification.
The MA, exclusive to Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) diploma holders, starts in November and offers a high quality academic qualification delivered using the Business School’s multimedia supported, distance learning method.
“Response has proved that there is a demand from within the CIM membership for this new qualification,” says David Mercer, Course Team Chairman. “The CIM/OUBS programme offers busy marketing professionals the opportunity to study for a Masters degree without taking time away from work or putting their career on hold.”
More than 600 prospective students have already requested an information pack. If you want to register for the November presentation you need to do so by 23 September.
The programme is open to CIM Postgraduate Diploma holders who have achieved the Diploma since 1994. Initially the MA is only available to UK-based students.
The four 6-month courses within the MA in Masters are studied in sequence over two years. They combine modern technology, such as computer conferencing, CD-ROMs and interactive websites, with supportive tutoring from professionals with both marketing and education experience. Marketing knowledge and skills gained by CIM Diploma holders will be developed to the higher levels with particular regard to the strategic knowledge needed in senior management.
